| The factory shifter in all mustangs is basically the same as shifting gears in a 16 wheeler. The shifter was one of the first things done to the car. The pictures you see here are from a 2001 GT 5spd Tri-ax install, due to the fact I didn't have a camera during the install I did on the Cobra. But the install is the exact same. Install takes about 20-30 minutes. After the install, the driving experience is a lot more enjoyable, and shifting distance has reduced 30%-40%. |
